Our main aim is to provide our users with an enjoyable leisure, sporting or social experience in a friendly and relaxing environment.
The Pavilion Leisure Centre is located on Station Road off Queen Street, near to the outdoor market. It can be reached by turning off the main road at the traffic lights, travelling past Aldi supermarket, and we are 50 yards on the left

At the Pavilion Leisure Centre we currently have a wide range of activities available.
Swimming Pool
At the heart of every leisure centre is a swimming pool. We have a great 25m, Leisure pool, with an attached learner swimming pool. The pool offers easy access for the disabled, and ranges from 0.7m in the learner pool, up to 2.0m at the deep end. We are proud to offer our large 70m waterslide (open at peak times)and we also have a separate toddler pool.

Our health & fitness suite has been extended and fully fitted with the latest concept in cardiovascular and resistance equipment, as well as a free weights area incorporating dumb bells and a smiths machine. Our fully trained coaches are available to provide advice, design programmes, carry out regular health checks (FREE to Sure DD members), and to help you achieve your goals. All of our cardiovascular equipment is fitted with on screen entertainment with music, sport and terrestrial channels

Tone Zone Fitness SuiteSports Facilities
Our 3 court sports hall offers a wide range of team and individual activities such as badminton, both short and long bowls, basketball, cricket, football, judo, trampolining and Fitness classes. This facility is widely used by local clubs and groups.
Equipment available for hire from reception!
Cafe
Our cafe overlooking the pool, caters for all ages and needs, offering a wide range of healthy food and drinks.

CateringFunction Rooms
We have 2 Function Rooms available for hire. Ideal for meetings, presentations, seminars or training.

Creche
We have a creche available throughout the week, running Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 9.30am - 11.25am. Why not drop off the kids and take part in an activity to suit you!

Health Suite
Why not treat yourself to a relaxing hour in our sauna or top up your tan on our fast tan sunbeds.
Health SuitePavilion Squash
We have 2 glass backed squash courts available for casual bookings. Squash is proven to be the most effective way to burn calories and get fit.

Rackets and balls available to hire!
Exercise Classes
Join in with one of our varied exercise classes ranging from Aqua aerobics, boxercise, aero-circuits, spinning or weight management.
Exercise classes Sports Hall
Our multi-purpose sports hall with its sprung wooden floor is the ideal venue for various activities,
such as Badminton Five-a-side Football Basketball Table Tennis Indoor Bowls Volley Ball and various exercise classes
In our Sports Hall we can also offer various Children's Birthday Party activities, such as Softplay and Bouncy Castle, Fun and games, Five-a-side Football parties. This can be followed by catering provided for you in your own private room.
